Bromley Clackett Livesley was formed in 2014 and prides itself on offering cost effective and expedient legal services including conveyancing, wills and estate planning, lasting powers of attorney and through its association with Bromley Clackett, Chartered Accountants, probate and estate administration services also.
The principals of the partnership are Karen Livesley, Stuart Bromley and Lee Clackett.
Karen has been working in legal practice since 1996 and has been based in Bognor throughout her career. Her background in high street firms means she is very much at home dealing with a variety of work, which currently includes Residential Conveyancing, Will writing and dealing with Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Karen began her career assisting with General and Matrimonial Litigation, which provided her with a solid foundation from which she has developed a wide range of experience of legal practice. She studied for her Legal Executive qualification by way of evening classes whilst employed by Hobson & Rodgers and qualified as a Legal Executive in 2001. Having received encouragement and support from her employers at Wintle & Co, she enrolled on the weekend LPC course at the College of Law in 2004 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2006. Upon admission, she became a partner at Wintle & Co.
Wintle & Co closed in March 2012 following the retirement of Karen’s fellow partners. Karen contacted George Ide who added her to their team in Bognor.
The opportunity later arose for Karen to form a partnership with local accountants Bromley Clackett Limited and the firm of Bromley Clackett Livesley LLP opened its doors in March 2015. This was an exciting new venture joining law with accountancy and it is believed the firm is the first Alternative Business Structure of its kind offering such services in this area.

I was recommended to Jackie Scott by a friend and am glad that our paths crossed. Jackie is extremely professional and has a lovely personality which made the process of selling my home much easier. She was very helpful and her guidance was appreciated as it had been many years since I last sold and purchased a property. I would not hesitate to recommend Jackie and, in fact, I have done so many times!
Jackie Scott did an outstanding job in handling a complex series of transactions for me as an ex-pat living in Canada. Jackie first handled the sale of my deceased mother’s property in Bognor Regis, and then assisted us with a protracted purchase (with my daughter, who lives in London) of a flat in London. Jackie showed immense patience with both processes, always gave us excellent advice, responded professionally to every challenge thrown up, and was 100% reliable in every way. I was so impressed with her good grace under pressure and with her competence. I am delighted to highly recommend her to any potential client.
Jackie Scott has been truly amazing in guiding me through the sale of my lovely home in Elmer through to the purchase of my new home. I have bought and sold a number of properties but a first as a widow. Jackie always had the time to talk to me on any issue I was concerned about and explained everything so clearly it reduced my stress levels to make everything move along quickly and efficiently, thank you Jackie.
